Home Learning

Homework is a fundamental part of our curriculum provision and affords each individual pupil the opportunity to consolidate and extend their learning. Each homework task is designed to challenge and inspire our pupils, at the same time as deepening their understanding of topics within the curriculum. Subjects set one homework task per week and this is published on Class Charts along with the due date and any resources required to be able to complete the task.

We value exploration as a skill therefore, to be successful, tasks will require resilience and determination. A week is given for the completion of each homework task to ensure enough time for completion to the highest standard but also the opportunity to get support should it be required.

Study support is available in the Library from 3.30pm-4.25pm Monday to Wednesday for years 7-10.

Year 11 pupils have intervention sessions and can see their teachers at any available opportunity for support with their studies.
