In modern Britain it is not just enough to have good academic qualifications, students must be equipped with skills, values and experiences that will allow them to compete in a global community.
During the weekly Relating lesson, students in year 7-10 cover a wide range of topics that allow them to relate to people, places, the past and possibilities. As a school we prioritise the importance of Religious Education, PSHE, SMSC and British Values through explicit curriculum provision in our Relating curriculum. They will learn about themselves and their community as well as different cultures and faiths, different communities and all of their possible future pathways.
In addition to the weekly Relating lesson, there are one-off events to allow experts to deliver many aspects of the traditional PSHE curriculum.
